The people behind it
Simon Austin is the founder and editor of Training Ground Guru, the leading source of news and insight on the people who run football clubs, and has built one of the most connected networks in the game.
David Sumpter is the founder of Twelve, a professor of applied mathematics and the author of Soccermatics. He has spent a decade helping clubs, federations and agencies use data in recruitment and match analysis.
Alongside them are Twelve's decision scientists, who build our models and work directly with clubs on the questions that matter: which player to sign, how to prepare for the next opponent, how to explain a data-led decision to a coach.
