What Earpiece can do is provide predicted performance based on the Twelve Transfer Model. Which can still offer valuable insight during recruitment.

The transfer model takes in to account all trasfers across the world for the last eight years. I look at how players moving between leagues have performed after they have made a move. I do this for every quality (dribbling, passing quality, pressing etc.). If, historically, players' performance drops in, for example, pressing when they move between leagues then I know that future transfers are more likely to have a hard time pressing after they have made the move. It is this logic on which the model is based.
